Your CV and your device

ArtResume does not require an account. Your CV, photo, and settings are saved in localStorage in your browser. This storage remains until you delete it, clear site data, or your browser removes it. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access it. Use Delete my data in the editor to remove the saved CV. Downloaded PDFs and exported JSON files remain wherever you saved them; delete those separately.

PDF generation

When you request a PDF, the browser sends your CV over HTTPS to the PDF endpoint. The server renders it temporarily in Chromium memory and returns the file. CV content, photos, and the rendering HTML are never stored in a database, persisted as a file, or written to application logs. The browser-print fallback renders on your device.

To limit abuse, the service uses a one-minute hash of the connection IP address and a request count. These temporary rate-limit records expire within one minute. They contain no CV content. The hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata, such as IP address, time, route, and status, under its own policies. It should not log request bodies.

Optional analytics and advertising

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, optional Google Analytics 4, and Google AdSense for analytics and advertising. They load only following consent. Analytics events record actions such as starting a CV, choosing a template, importing data, and downloading a PDF. They never contain your name, email, CV text, photo, or imported file.

Where advertising is enabled, Google’s certified Privacy & messaging consent platform obtains the relevant choices. Google may process cookies and device information for advertising and measurement according to those choices. The site remains usable when you decline. Open Cookie preferences in the footer to review or withdraw consent.

Contact and choices

Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@artresume.online. Do not include your CV. Because there are no accounts or server-held CV records, we cannot recover a deleted browser CV. Keep your own JSON backup. This policy applies to ArtResume; linked websites have their own policies.

Vercel Web Analytics

With your optional analytics consent, Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate page views, referring sites, and browser, device, and approximate location information. It does not use third-party cookies. We remove query strings and fragments from recorded page URLs and do not send CV fields, photos, imported files, or custom events to Vercel Analytics. Use Cookie preferences to decline or withdraw consent.
